Hey Guys,

So I was looking online at getting my first rimfire (currently looking at a 452 lux), but spotted a 455 Super Match for significantly cheaper and have been trying to find information on it, however have not been successful. Would it be better than the 452 lux? Im currently looking at a rimfire for shooting both at the range and in the backwoods for target practice with iron sights as well as optics.

Unless you are planning on utilizing the switch barrel capability of the 455, I concur that the 452 would be the one to look for.

I think the "super match" name is a bit of a misnomer as every one of them i have held have very plain beech stocks and ok sights. 452 lux has GREAT sights.

None the less, you can do no wrong with CZ's rimfires. (I pluralized it because you need more than one, lol)

I have a supermatch. It's a great little gun, however, I prefer the elevator sight on the 453 lux. The supermatch has a 12 grove barrel, and is extremely accurate... For scoping, it generally needs a new stock with a higher comb. But with a scope, that gun is deadly in the gopher patch...

If the Super Match barrel with its 12 grooves is superior in accuracy, why is this call of quality not offered in the Varmint and American models.

Has any one tested one barrel against the other.

I would like to test one with my Weaver T36.
