Questions about the Knoxx SpecOps stock. does this really make a differance in 12 gauge when shooting & how much?

I have a young boy & young teen age girl who is small framed who is starting to shoot this year. Do you think the recoil will be easy for them to handle?

I am going to say it nicely before someone gets ignorant (happens from time to time around here)

Just try the search function, lots of threads and posts to read. I say this because i am looking for one myself. Seems they work somewhat as advertised. I would suggest getting light target loads and working your kids up from there though.

I know what they claim & seen there videos. but can't really know until I personally try it & see the difference. hence why I hope someone here has used it & also have young ones which have tried it. I was thinking if it's still to much for the kids to handle I would maybe go to the Knoxx SpecOps 20 gauge model. My girl is old enough to hunt upland & turkey but again she has a small frame 90lbs or so.

by the way what is a search function? :D

I find they make a big difference. Also for younger shooters the stock adjustment is a great feature for fitting guns.

knoxx

They work like a charm - less kick less muzzle flip - in shotgun speed matches the knoxx guns are ALWAYS faster (except for the mag fed valtros - LOL ) Wish they made a knoxx for the valtro

search function is in the bar at the top of the page, right under the ads. Should say search, then when you click on it, a drop down menu appears with a text bar to typ e in. You type in what you are looking for, and wherever it was dscussed will come up.

They work very well. I've had numerous co-workers try mine as well as 2 female police officers.they all noticed a big difference in felt recoil.
One officer wasn't much taller then 5'5" and she couldn't believe the difference between their duty 870 with factory stocks and my Marine Magnum with the Spec Ops.
Buy one..you won't be sorry.

thanks all for your feedback, I'm will go with the Knoxx stock. But I'm still torn between the 12 gauge & 20 gauge, I'm only interested in upland bird & turkey. I think 12 gauge might be hard on the kids & prairie chickens. I find me shooting chickens from very close range at time and 12 gauge blow them up.

With the 12 gauge on chickens...Lead the target more and hope for headshots. :D
