questions about the maccabee defense slr

i was looking into buying the maccabee defense slr and at that point i realized i have to built my own rifle from the groud up. i need advice for building this ar-15 since it is my first... i want it non-restricted so a 18.5 inch barrel and i dont know who makes those because i assume that if i buy a 18inch barrel and put a break on hit and it reaches the 18,5 inch it still wont be non-restricted. so if you have advice for my built plz respond!!

An add-on part does not contribute to the barrel length for classification purposes.
A standard AR rifle barrel is 20"; these are readily available. There are also 18.6" barrels being made specifically to keep this rifle non-restricted.
There is a wealth of information available about how to assemble an AR style rifle.
