Gentlemen,

An older friend of the family recently asked me about an old semi auto that he has in his inventory. I got a good look at it and took a pic, however I know very little about semi-autos let alone anything this vintage. Anyways I can't find jack on the net concerning the gun can anyone tell me about it? The fellow just wanted to know if there's any history behind the gun and if it has any value today, parts , etc. He says his father bought it new back in the 50's. To me it looks like a FABARM but I'm not certain.

receiver behind the ejection port says "OMAR-BRESICIA MADE IN ITALY"
on the barrel "Tradewinds Model H-170"
on the left side of receiver "Tradewinds. INC - Tacoma - Washington USA"
I know that Tradewinds imported many firearms back in the day but can find nothing on this model H-170...

Sounds to me like tradewinds imported this gun which was made by OMAR which is the old trade name of Masieri which is now Armi Atis and BRESICIA is the city it was made. This could be wrong but might give you somthing to go on.

Cheers and Merry Christmas
