I have found a Mauser actioned sporter in .243 Win. The seller is asking $450obo and I think will take $400. It has a Bushnell Banner Scope on it, included for the price. Looks like a synthetic stock in the pics. I know squat about the Mauser action and have some questions.
1) How do I tell if it is a K98 action? Are there others it might be?
2) Anything to look for in particular on this action?
3) Is the price reasonable? I think so, but I could be wrong.
4) Any other questions to ask about it?
