I was looking at the online regs, for some reason it ends at 82? Is this just an online error? I cant find what the season times are for 87E and 89B for Muzzle loader this year. I already sent my tag in for anterless hunt for those areas. Anybody have an actual copy of the new regs handy with the dates?

X2 and further to doublelung's note.....

The page #66 on the Regs that you (USP) were looking at was/is the one for the Regular season WMUs i.e. where firearms such as Rifle/Shotgun/ML/Archery/Cannon/Blunderbuss etc may be applicable. :D

Were you hunting let's say in 82A during the week of Nov 7-12 you could use a CF rifle and/or any other type of firearm(s) designated for the WMU for that period.

On the other hand, were you hunting let's say again in 82A but during the week of Dec 5-10 then you would have been restricted to the use of Archery or ML only. However, that doesn't place that WMU inside the Controlled Hunt category.

Details on the Controlled Hunt (in the Regs) are on Page 69/70.....

thanks guys, I guess I shouldve just bought a controlled hunt tag. The whole thing with different zones, different times, varying municipal licenses, different tags is abit convoluted.

Its like they purposely want to legislate people not to hunt through increased red tape.

Controlled hunt tags cost nothing. The draw is free and start August 1 and ends August 31. You just apply for the controlled hunt and it costs nothing. :)

Sounds good. You would think they would teach this #### in Hunters ed...
