Recently inherited pre/64 mod 70 Ser #3224xx in .270 Win. Bluing is 98-99% slight scabard mark at muzzle.Stock is not original, story is it was restocked in the late sixtys/early seventys Aparently early stocks were more for Iron sights than scopes (low Comb?) Stock is a beauty highly figured walnut white line spacers seems to be a Que. maker fleur de li is precent on Bakealite butt plate top and bottom with blank coat of arms in the center. It is also present at grip cap and under forend cap at barrel. Sorry no pics. Anyone have any ideas on year of gun , stock maker,value, or any other info in this rifle.info is appreciated.P.S. its a tack driver. Thx :?:
