I'm interested in getting one of these but have a couple of quick questions for Canada Ammo or anyone who owns one:

1. On the Grizzly 12 ga 15" Shotgun (mag fed) w/rifle sights and heatshield, are these open rifle sights or ghost ring sights?
2. Does the barrel have a fixed choke or does it use choke tubes?
3. If it uses choke tubes how many tubes does it come with and what brand(s) of chokes fit it?
4. How many mags does it come with?

Sorry for the questions but the website description of this gun is a little thin.

Thanks.

I just picked one of these up (15" mag-fed) and had it out to the range yesterday after stripping and cleaning it.
I was impressed by the fit and finish. Cycled flawlessly.

There are a couple of YouTube videos of this shotgun - worth watching.

As for your questions:
1. Open rear leaf sight graduated up to 300 yards (positions marked 1 2 and 3) a bit optimistic...front sight is a ring-enclosed post like an SKS. Good sight picture.

2. Fixed choke.

3. No choke tubes.

4. Comes with 1 5-round metal mag. Cycled perfectly. I also purchased one additional mag (plastic) - again cycled flawlessly.

So far very impressed. Great gun at a great price.

Hope this helps...

I wish mine came with a metal mag got a plastic one but as he said the gun is a good buy run flawless with 3inch slugs to 2 3/4 target loads

the sights are rifle notch and post

I've also heard that some batches have come with plastic trigger guards. Mine is metal.

Guess I also got lucky with the metal mag that came with it.

The plastic heat shield is a bit flimsy, but the shotgun itself is a solid performer so far...

Put a cheap ncstar red dot on mine, love it. Had the leaf site. Used a standard cheapie 870 rail, but had to dremel the rail down so it fit the receiver. Great little guns. I got the early spare metal mags. I had to sand the tops, too wide at the top to allow the little disconnecter doodad to reset. 15 mins of work and they cycle great

I got the 18.5" and I like it allot. The magazines are fairly cheap and available. the but stock is solid (heavy too). I can't imagine someone being disappointed with it.

What I know is that the plastic one is factory ,the metal one is aftermarket, mine working good on both.
