Questions... remington and savage

I have two rifles a Remington 223 20 inch barrel and 1:9 twist Houge stock
I have a Savage 223 Model 10 FLP-K 223 Accustock.
I was out shooting both on the range trying to do some load testing.
I was shooting 77grn 62 gnr,55 grn and 45 grn

The Rem put all the shots into a clover leaf no matter what the grn.
The Savage i could ony get to group well with the heavier stuff 62-77grn.
I am going to reshoot again on Thursday but I did fidn it odd. I had great hopes for the Savage

Why would barrels with the same twist rate show such different groupings?

Different rifles shoot well with different loads. Surely you weren't expecting all rifles to shoot all bullets equally well?

Not equal After hearing about how good Savage was I did expect better groups from it. I am going to try again Thursday. I do like the Savage Does houge make a stock for a Savage with a the box mag?

They (Houge) are supposed to be coming out with one with either pillar or a full length aluminum bedding block this summer.

You may have a good Rem. barrel and a not so good Savage one, they're all different.
