I live 300 yrds from a shotgun only area and there are a few bucks romping around.I dont usually shoot deer with a shotgun but Im gonna if I get the chance today What is the best choke for shooting SSGs or 00 buck Cant use slugs as there is a single projectile ban.Graham

IMHO...maybe the best answer is to pattern your shotgun at the expected game distance, with the actual gun/choke/ammo combination.....
For myself , the farthest distance that I shoot buckshot, is the distance where I get an 18" diameter pattern....
YMMV....
