Quick 'n' Dirty Fiber Optic Sight Fix

Some of you may have had issues with those fiber optic sight tubes falling out, usually in the duff, or--God forbid--the floor of your cluttered garage. These tubes are little more than bits of polystyrene, PMMA, or whatever, yet cost something crazy.

In a pinch, use a bit of either thick, translucent (green, etc.) monofilament fishing line, or weed-whacker line. If that's too skinny for the front sight's tube holder, try a piece of those translucent girl drink swords. This works well enough in a pinch, at least 'til your 'proper' tube replacements come in the mail.
