Quick question about Dlask SR-22 quad-rail in Vancouver

Hey guys,

First off, I apologize if this info's available easily and readily. I've tried to get the damn search working, and I have no idea why but I can't get it to bring up results. Definitely extremely interested in getting an SR-22, and I'm sure that in the next couple days I'll pop by one of the local shops and drop the cash for it.

Are there any local shops that anyone's aware of that carry the Dlask quad-rail? If not, does Dlask generally have them in stock and ready to go?

Issue is simply that I'm EXTREMELY IMPATIENT, and also heading out of town for a while in about 10 days, so I'd love to get my hands on one of the quad rails before I leave.

And a Magpul ACR stock, or something similar too, but that's another story I guess.
 
your best bet is to call Dlask directly (dlaskarms.com), there may be some trouble getting trough, but if your persistent and PATIENT :D you can ask them if they have a set in stock. If not scroll through some of the sponsors and see what they have.

magpul parts ... good place to look is the EE as well.
 
you can get tuffer buffers right from the website ... tufferbuffer.com

Or if you pm your address to me, I'll mail you one free of charge .. and you should get it by next Friday.

If you search youtube .. you can make your own autobolt release, takes 5min with a dremel or a bit longer using a file.

Thanks for the info though, I'll definitely give the dremel/file thing a go. Worst case, I can always replace if I screw it up badly enough. I'm not always all thumbs, but when I am...
 
Contact dlask directly at 604-952-0837 damn I call ther too much I didn't even have to look that up lol there in delta not far from you and they have the rails in stock. I go pick up my stuff in person all the time but they appreciate if you call aheas
 
Yup. No problem. I bought a bunch a few months ago and have extras and really don't need them all.

The autobolt release is relatively easy. Check out the tips and tricks thread at the top if the forum. It had pix if what it's supposed to look like.
 
dlask is in delta. I bought the quad rails and ended up removing all but the bottom rail because I found it to be too heavy. PM me if your interested in the top and side rails. I live in the coquitlam area. I haven't posted these on the EE yet cause i JUST removed them and wanna test it out tomorrow to see if it makes a big difference.

I didn't realize they were in Delta, for some reason I kept thinking they were Island-based. That'd make it easier for sure.

I was looking at the kit for the OEM handguard. I assume it's what makes the one in the following pic look the way it does?

The rails do add some weight to your setup but they are a great add on to the overall appearance of the rifle. If your just looking for a top rail, pm Gump and save yourself a few bucks. And the side rails that he has will fit the bottom of the hand guard. I left mine off because it makes the grip very wide.

I have sent a PM. The rails do make it look great, and I'm not too concerned about the weight factor. I'll be working out to regain my strength a bit, so I should be able to grow some muscles to hold it up! (might take a while though. haha)

His post says he only has the top and side rails, hence why I mentioned that a side rail will serve as a bottom rail just fine. And the over all appearance without side rails look good just the same :)

Excellent! The side rails probably don't matter much anyway, I can't imagine bolting much to the side, and I do have some scrawny hands so keeping the grip up there a slightly thinner will probably help.

SR-22 in hand!

Gump hooked me up, and JT_Trouble wasn't kidding, the side rail fit on the bottom just fine.

I moved the sling attachment point back a notch and it fit right through the hole in the rail and secured up tight (I think).
