Quick question to the gods of ammo...

Running through some website, I recall seeing that the Win .32 special was shootable out of a a gun chambered for a .32 remington. Is this accurate, or some newbie looking at the similarities of names? Thanks for your advice, I'm not familiar with either...

I don't think they are interchangeable. 32 win special is a rimmed case and 32 rem is rimless. If memory serves, the load data is interchangeable but not the cases.

You might be able to fire a 32 rem in a 32 special chamber, but, bring along a rod to tap the case out, because your extractor isn't gonna touch it.
