Hi All,

I am looking to see if there is such thing as a quick release bipod that I could throw on my S&W M&P 15 .223 rifle? I would like it use it for long range plinking however I'd want to be able to take it off quickly.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Whats atlas?

I did some searching on the vendors sights but didn't find much info so I went to Harris's website and found their adapter page that I could use to quick release. I should have probably went there before I asked.

http://www.harrisbipods.com/adapter... look into the your suggestion bsand. Thanks!

Atlas is carried by Wolverine Supply. Worth looking at. about 450$ new.

PGW in Winnipeg carries LRA which can be had in QR as well, but is even more $$$.

Ok cool, I will check it out. I don't really want to spend that much but I will see what works best for me.

So far I am seeing a $90 Harris RBA-1 quick release adapter and then the bipod is $154 from Lebarons but I gotta check out these Atlas. I didn't realize it was a brand.

I have a atlas knockoff for $60 if you want to try a cheap one out or search bipeds there is a lot of options to suit the budget some utg for $30 and if it fails so what but the atlas from green------- green somthing has all the features but not as tight fit on the legs ,swivel etc

Thanks for the tip. I didn't even consider the cheaper options. I'll check it out as well.
