Quick reload velco backed shot shell holders

A number of years ago, when the elastic shell loops on my old vest had became useless, I replaced them with shotgun cards (the cheap kind, from Aliexpress)

To use on a gun, the hard-backed cards from S&J (or similar) would probably be better. And the elastic on the S&J are significantly stronger than the inexpensive Ali ones.
- I have yet to lose one (or ammo), pushing through spruce/shrubs

Also, keep in mind that they don't have all the same footprint.

Hey. Thanks for that.
I'd like to here why you think the Vang units offer over the Gen 3 S&J units
Thanks

I'm sorry this took so long. The Vang units are narrower and have a taper at the nose, and no tab. This makes them a better fit in M4 pouches. The tab gets in the way, the Vang units get around this by making the first loop longer, so you can stick a finger in to remove the card if neccesary. My Tactical Tailor breachers vest has individual loops for shells, pouches with shell loops and M4 pouches.

I have a much more bare bones Gen 1 version of this T3 chest rig, no side pouches but including the four M4 size tacos which hold a shotgun card very securely without the bungee retention cords. It seems even the version shown is a mere $200US if you can find one here anymore.

Good feedback back!

We will be sticking with the Tegris insert, we have found that thr best, one of the reasons we moved to that is the lack of 2 in h s scuba webing in colours.
I'll take a look at the double stitching.
Right now we are working on a shotgun micro chest rig
That takes some ideas from the old school SEO micro
And out DSC shotshell pouch.
Combine with an IFAK insert ;)

Is it gonna be micro but for fat guys?
