Here is a quick video testing out Dominion Arms Shotgun shells, both slugs and buckshot.

The shotgun used is a HP9 Norinco 870 clone.

The buckshot is an excellent value. The slugs were ok out to 25 yards then got inconsistent.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Are round balls considered "slugs"? I've never heard of people calling the two the same before. People usually specify round ball as they are known to be less accurate out of a smooth bore than a foster slug.
They can work well in a rifled barrel if they are the right diameter but over on the cast boolits forums there are a lot of threads about them and most people shoot oversized balls through rifled barrels. Some use them as short range slug replacements but don't consider them to be slugs.

They are being sold as slugs although its pretty plain on the description what you are getting. They aren't oversized and my lee keyhole slugs are a bit more accurate out past 30 yards. Thanks for the tip on the round balls for shotguns. Its a long winter and worth a try.
