Hi - quick question. Do all modern savage bolt guns have the same action?
I.E.Model 11, 12 etc, and Stevens model 200? I see many parts for the savage model 110 series (barrels etc), but those parts would fit an 11 or 12 as well, correct?
Pretty much they are all the same action right? A barrel for a Savage 110 series will fit a model 11 or 12?

Thanks

there are two generaly the 110 long actipon and the 10 the extra one is the long action

they are releasing a model based on they're rim fire action for lighter callibers

the police and some of the target models are simply the same gun with a differant finish and differant stock

Some parts are different. A Savage LRPV Mod 12 has a larger bbl shank than a regular mod 12. There are differences in the same models over different years of production. Go online to Savage Shooters .com or ask Sharpshooters Supply, they're Savage specialists.
Good luck

stevens 200 and savage are essentially the same ,
the differences will be shank size *reg or large* and the 3 digit numbers like 110, 112 etc are the long actions, whereas the 2 digit numbers like 10 and 12 are the short actions. also some of the older savages have a flat rear reciver top * where the rear scope base bolts too. where the new ones have a completely round reciever top.
