Radian Ramjet/G19?

So I have this old gen 4 G19 and have the itch to do some tinkering.

Anybody here have any insight on the Radian Ramjet setup? I realize it's maybe been around for a while but I am typically late to every party.

Saw an ad on the ee recently with one for sale and it looks kinda intriguing.

Any feedback about whether or not it's worthwhile?

Open to alternate suggestions for upgrades.

The price was retail, as the used one I saw was gone by the time I made up my mind.

Seems to make a difference, I like it.

Now I need to find an optics-ready slide, and maybe a better light so I can find a holster that works. Wasn't much available that didn't cost as much as the pistol when I was buying....

I'm guessing I need to find a 17-length holster now?

If you are looking for an optic cut gen4 slide in Canada I believe Saskatoon Gunworks has some of the Nomad stripped slides in stock. Don’t know much about them as far as reliability but they look good, RMR cut and serrations. Thinking of grabbing one myself to try out

That's cheap compared to some. I honestly haven't used this pistol much, never have time to go to the range.

I did make it out today, put about 700 rds through it. Functioned well, had this happen twice in a row early in my shooting session. Never happened before, didn't happen again.


Re-aquainting myself with this pistol, i need to get to the range more often.

Might need a different recoil spring when running a brake on a pistol

Other than the 2 stoppages in the pic, it ran great. I suspect it was me, I need to work on my hold. Some more time with the trigger is needed, as I said earlier I haven't used this pistol much.
