Radom Vis 35, new to me

Congrats on the ViS Steve, your's is the earlier variant of the Type IIs while David's is a later Type II variant. The difference is in the machineing behind the trigger.

Here's mine with a J block serial number:

Looking good bas! Nice one for sure.

It's strange they decided to omit the finger cut outs behind the trigger in later pistols, I guess like the poor bluing it was to speed up production. It's the opposite on 1911's, the M1911 has no cutouts while the later improved M1911A1 have them.

Let's keep the pics coming! Any other GunNutz have some photos of their Radom Vis 35?

Cheers,
-Steve

For the love of everything that is Holy, I cannot find magazines for my Radom :( I have 1 magazine that came with mine, but I believe it's not correct to the time period of the pistols production because the magazine has a Walther p38 magazine bottom plate, and the whole magazine can be disassembled. Where did some of the members here find theirs? or might know where to look? I'm always on the lookout at gun shows, but all I find are 1911 magazines or for some other ones that look similar but are not radom magazines :(

I'm sending you a PM, I have a source for a limited number of 100% original Radom Vis 35 mags and grips.

Would anyone else be interested in original Radom grips and mags? I will be imported a small number from a friends collection in the Netherlands for reasonable prices.

-Steve
