It's the one on the top :D

After inspecting the firearm at the 2011 SHOT Show, the ATF determined that the Taurus Raging Judge is in fact an NFA regulated firearm. Whether it would be classified as a Destructive Device (DD) or Short Barreled Shotgun (SBS) is not known at this time, but Taurus has withdrawn the firearm and currently has no plans to move the 28 gauge Raging Judge into full production.

Sad story :puke:

I shot one on the weekend . Completely covered the target at 5ft away. It would be nice to have outdoors during bug season . A few round through that will take care of the black flies .:D

One area US laws are worse than ours, for sure. Odd that a 28 guage, could possibly be considered a "Destructive Device." The Short Barrel Shotgun, is a little more plausible.

MY 10.5" SBH is still bigger, though 454 casull, has a touch more bite than my 44, however (500fps or so, with 240gr pills).

Yes, I have a super black hawk in .44 mag also (7.5 inch stainless) The .454 casull makes the ruger feel like a .357! (you can see the two in the picture above, top and bottom)

The cylinder on the Ruger and the two Smith & Wesson Performance Centres looks like they were made for .22LR compared to the Judge

At almost 5 pounds I would have thought it may be a bit more tame, regardless it is awesome and my new favorite.

They should have called this THING "Big Bertha". I love it!! I wonder why it doesn't have the factory ported barrel like the other raging series revolvers. I loved my Raging Bull 444 when I had it, and will pick up another soon. One of the biggest draws for me was the exceptionally tame recoil of the ported Raging Bull barrel. I wonder if a gunsmith could port the Ragin Judge barrel also to match the Raging Bull. The barrel shrouds appear much the same, if it could be done I would buy one for sure. Can you safely port a barrel that shoots shotgun shells? I really have no idea. You would have one hell of a pair if you could port these barrels

!
