Can anyone send me the instructions for installing rails on handguards?

Which rails?

They are a set of 2, picanty rails from Questar. I have a vertical grip i want to put on , but there are lots of screws and nuts and i want to make sure i have them all in the right spots.


I know i have to remove the handguards, and heat sheilds.... just not sure which hardware goes where....

the nuts go on the inside,bolts through the rails on the outside.
The rails sit in the grooves on the handguards,bolts go through the holes.
Pop the heatshields out and eyeball it,you should be able to figure it out

Will give it a shot after i hit tim hortons.... Have you ever installed a rail on your gear before?

Yeah i put one on the lower handguard for a vert grip once.
If you're close,i'll give you a hand if you can't figure it out.

yeah i have the same rail from questar, once you remove the handguards, just do the same thing to put back together. then screw the new rail together. it helps if you have a second person, or a 3rd arm.

Thanks for the help !!! It was pretty easy after all.... Here is the end result.


2 rails and a grip. Pretty tight too.
