Hey all. At the one precision event I attended last year, I noted a lot of the experienced shooters were making efforts to keep rain out of their chambers to avoid pressure issues.

Some where sliding clear plastic bags around the rifle and scope, other had neat looking pieces of clear plastic that the slipped between the front and rear scope mount to hang over top of the action.

Please share your tips and tricks with a newbie.

Sorry, I was not clear. I looked on the Coretac Solutions site for 10 min and came up blank. The only thing I saw were wrap around scope protectors that looked like they would interfere with the bolt operation, loading rounds in the magazine and ejection. They would keep water out of the action but I don't think they can be used for the application I have in mind. Unless I am missing something?

A army poncho or 2 is simple, cheap and works great, about 40$ for a good light weight one or 15-20 for heavier surplus stuff. that's what I use to cover Rifle/spot scope&gear from Sun & rain.
