I see on the EE that someone just bought a M1 with a Ram line stock on it. Well if he has small hands, he might like it, but I had one a few years back, and "did not like it, one bit". I have big hands, and I found the pistol grip skinny. It just didn't feel right.
My point here, is not to make fun the fellow that purchased that gun, but to let anyone that may be thinking of buying one of these stock, to think twice if they have normal or larger hands. IMHO, if you want a better stock, and can't find a half decent GI one, get one of the Boyds stocks instead. May need a little work, but in the end, you'll have a very nice piece of wood on the old girl. (and the price is about the same... unless you can find a nice used one)
