Ramshot Magnum for the 300 WM

Does anyone know how this powder works in the 300 WM? I don't have any reloading info for this powder, a buddy of mine used it in his 300 till he sold it so I bought the powder from him. He said it worked awsome?? just need some tables for this powder. Which manuals or reloading books cover this powder. Will it work with 210 gr berger VLDs?

I've got a few of their powders, but have yet to complete my load developments with them. So far I've made a test range of some .270 WSM's with 'Magnum' and 140 grain Accubonds, but chrony and scope-mount issues (along with a smattering of noob-ness) on range day foiled me.


Some load guides I have do list 200 and 220 grain loads for .300WSM's (Nosler & Lee), but none I that do also specify any of Westerns Ramshot powders in said loads. I forsee more research in your future. Careful on that load work up!
