Ramshot Powders

I haven't yet had the opportunity to use this brand of powder. How does it stack up to the other brands. Is it generally a solid well performing powder or is it junk compared to the major brands ?

I've only used Ramshot TAC - made in Belgium and is a very nice powder.

Started out using Tac for varmint calibers because ball powders meter so well. Have now Tac, X-terminator, Big Game, 2200, and Hunter in the powder bunker, all work very well. Haven't tried Ramshot in big boomers yet but will at some point.

I've found TAC to be excellent for my 223 use.

I prefer to use TAC for my 35 Rem and 358Win. Hunter is very good for my 7-08 and 30-06 RCBS imp.

I also started with TAC. now I use Xterminator, Big Game, Magnum and 2520. I'm starting to prefer it, and I have around 20 assorted pds now, and I just used 4 pds for some bulk .223 loading...

I've found TAC to be excellent for my 223 use.

Like everyone else I too use this in my .223 bolt gun with good results. Since I use 75 grained bullets, Ramshot gives me a little more room for powder than Varget. Plus a slight increase in velocity.
