Like the title says i ran out elevation adjustment right away with a new set up. So what should i do? Shim the back? Higher rings? Im pretty sure that the windage is not way to one side which would also limit my elevation. Im sure its fairly common but havent run into this as im just new to this side of shooting. Thanks in advance.

I'd get a 20 moa base for it after ensuring that I didn't screw something up while mounting it, how far are you shooting with it? what type of optic? what is your zero?

Ran into the same problem WITH a 20MOA base but going the other way. Was not able to get a 100m zero. I ended up removing the 20MOA base and just going back to a zero, but I had both the rings and the shimming recommended to me so I am sure either would be a good option for you as well. Just where your confidence/abilities are.

It sounds like you're either shooting long range, or somethings buggered. I'm going to assume you're going long.

If you're trying to really reach out there, like others have said, get a 20 moa rail and or the Burris rings with inserts. I'm using both and I still have a 100 yard zero, and using cross hairs on a gong at 890 yards.

If something is buggered, I'm not going to pretend I can help. ;)

Good luck
