While zeroing the scope, I ran out of the clicks on Elevation,

Thanks Ellwood people for putting the sh!t show, I may be cheap but that $250 is my hard earned money.

So now what ?

Just hit it with a hammer cause that vague description is about as useful as tampon instructions in a pack of hot dogs. Check your mounts. Make sure it's installed correctly, sitting in the rings right, rings sitting on the rail, dovetail etc right, if it has scope bases make sure they're installed correctly. If that all checks out try another scope and that will tell you if it's a mounting issue or a scope issue.

The art of writing a post and saying nothing..If you take the time to write a post to complain at LEAST provide some details..

Over 1000 post and this is what we get? Probably cheap low rings, if the scope started out centered. Is he tryig to zero close-in or at 100?

250 is a cheap scope. If you need more elevation you need to get an angled base

Some hard lessons I've learned over the years: 1- If it cost you $250 for a scope AND installation, that is lower end of what you can expect in terms of quality. Don't think of scopes as an after thought. Spend as close to how much on your optics and mounting hardware as you can as you did for the rifle. 2- Know the difference between "Optically Centered" and "Mechanically Centered" scopes and start with the former. 3- Know the trajectory of what you're shooting. Air rifles and for example, subsonic 300blk have steep fall off so you know from the start drastic bore/scope axis bias is going to be needed if you intend to stretch it out. Also consider a reticle with lots of bottom end hash marks. 4- You can see problems coming before you leave the house by having access to laser bore/muzzle sighters. If your crosshairs drift AWAY from the laser as you move away from the muzzle you need bias built into your mounting somewhere; either in your base or your rings. I second the recommendation of Burris Signature Zee with ring inserts!

I can only quess everything else is normal @ this point. So being as it is elevation , you can install shims between the ft. "OR" rear base
and the receaver. If you ran out of "UP" elevation then add shims to rear base.

Pypes has likely got it. OP, a better description of your rifle/components and your intended zero would help a little...unless they drilled and tapped it, I would be reluctant to place blame on Epps.

Thanks everyone, best option is just crush it then send it back to Epps.

BTW they installed it, perhaps I should have spent little more money on a scope but it seems good to go at the store.

If they installed it, it's just a 'bore-sighted' zero. You must try to zero at like 25 and work from there. And tere is the possibility it was not optically centered anyway. They may not have checked that at Epps, just trusted the cheap scope mfr. - Since we don't have any further info from you, I'd go along with the 'Crush it' plan. You don't seem to follow any suggestions here, so slam away.

Did you talk with them personally about this? I'm sure Ellwood's would be willing to help find a solution to this issue. If you feel better crushing it and sending it back to them, that's an option I guess. You have to chill out, relax and try to get things worked out before stressing out about shyt.

I'm assuming the scope doesn't have a "ballistic stop". But it's worth a shot. I've seen a couple of cheap scopes that do.
