Ranch hand holster

I've tryout a couple different styles but never liked any. Lifting the 12+ inches to clear the holster is to cumbersome for my old inflexible shoulders, especially in a defensive situation. I made a flat leather tab to fit on a belt with a 1.5inch slit and just hang it by the saddle ring.
