Cool, never heard of that before! As it stands an M1C is one of the few left. If PeePee gets smashed by Freeland we may have to look harder at this sort of ting.

Not Universal Firearms. A local Victoria smith or machinist did a bunch many years ago. I'll try to get pics in the next day or so, but the one I have is much nicer than that.

I wish there would be more firearms manufacturers that think out of the box from semi-autos. I've always been a big fan of pistol caliber bolt action rifles, like the Deisle 45 ACP rifle.

Unfortunately semis are what people want. I got a couple Lees in Pistol cals. But id love to see a simple cooey 39 style rifle in pistol cals.

Considering the possible time spans and changes in what is and isn't acceptable it may be a case of it being ok back then but not now.

I am not sure how that is even possible. The Conservatives have control of the message, and the leadership race is a struggle to regain some ability to portray their people the way the party wants. Over the span of the PMJT governments, Freeland has not distinguished herself from him.

It is a pump action just like the Troy and MRA rifles. The gas block is welded up and can't be repaired.

i believe thats the 'interpretation' as of a certain date.

The way this likely worked was it may have been registered as non-semi, or it was somehow verified as something different

If you tried to convert a restricted M1 carbine to pump action today and have the registration change from restricted semi auto to non restricted pump action it would not be approved .
Back in the 70's & 80's you could weld the gas port piston to make it a straight pull repeater or attach a pump handle to the slide and it would change from semi auto to repeater .
I've seen the written RCMP approved method to do this back in the 80's .
They do not approve this change anymore .

I want a lever action in 7.62x25 but am sure it will never happen unless I do it myself
