I'm wondering what everyone uses for range bags going to and from the trap field? Specifically I am looking for something that is made specifically for storing boxes of 12 gauge shells, say 4 boxes up to a whole flat. I am tired of having a cardboard flat of shells in the back seat of my truck and walking back after each round to grab a new box of shells. Any links or names of bags/packs that you use would be great! TIA

Google shotgun sports magazine, they have a products section with some pretty decent shell carriers etc.

I went to Bentley (luggage and accessories) in the mall, found one I liked so I got one for each gauge. They're cheap and durable.

My favorite so far I bought on Amazon, has loops inside for all my choke tubes, carries up to 8 boxes of 12ga and has outside pocket for everything else.

The gun dealer has some Beretta stuff on sale. I picked up one of their med size cartridge bags for a very reasonable price.

Go to Princess Auto or Canadian Tire , and check out their tool bag selection . They offer a lot more strength , durability , and capacity than traditional range bags do .

Good Old Princess Auto. Remember those genuine Allen Trap shell and reload bags with belts for 12 bucks. A lot of folks walked by wondering what do you do with something like this?

Some fancy stuff! I just use an open top tool bag with rigid handle. Holds stuff, wasn't expensive but definitely isn't fashionable. One day I'll have a fancy sporting bag, but for now it works.

I know this is an older post.

But I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good range bag or backpack to would handle 4 or 5 boxes of shells and my shooting vest , glasses , and hearing protection?
