Range Day With Our New Shooting Barricade........

JSA Tactical staff managed to get out to the range today and put our gear to use.

Tried out our shooting barricade and it worked great.This barricade is smaller then the VTAC barricade, but the smaller size makes it easy to transport. It fits into the steel target stands we have at our range.it worked really well!!!

I just guessed at the dimensions......... lol.

We don't have a lot of room on our range firing line when it is busy, so I didn't want it too wide.
As it is, it is 56" H X 24" W.

Future plan is to build a 4' X 8' roof slope to shoot from........same as we use in our BCRA match.

A fixed slope rooftop limits you. Something adjustable like the one Rifles Only has are a lot more flexible:

What we use can have the legs folded up and easily stored. Plus easy to use at our range.

While those pictured above look like pretty good designs, they wouldn't be practical to use at our range.We have to share the range with the other members.

The ones we use in the BCRA could have used a few other mods but I did my best with the materials and the limited time I had. I appreciate the boys that helped Paul paint them so they last a bit longer too.

As you see other versions like your stand, I wish I had incorporated more of those ideas. So many good ideas, not enough time......
