Day off yesterday so made it out to the range. Bought a Magneto speed chronograph a couple of weeks ago to bring along. Great and easy chronograph to use. Will be using this much more than my older Chrony. Loads from TRG 22 had great ES and SD. ES of 10 and SD of 4.2 .
Had the range to myself which was great. I was able to set up paper targets at 300m. I have never shot paper past 100m before. I brought out my SL8 and TRG 22. I will have to work on the loads for SL8 more. Chronograph shows too much ES and SD. Best group was 3.4" most were 4".
The TRG 22 is so good. Very easy to shoot well. The stock fits me and just feels right.

The first group is left top, 2nd right top, 3rd left bottom, 4th right bottom, last middle. I tend to get better groups after firing a couple of groups for some reason. I did make a mistake on 4th group which is the one outside. Last group I shot fast just because. Probably no more than 45seconds to complete. 3rd group was my best. Happy with results.
Ended day with steel plates at 860 yards. Steel is fun. Need more days off like this.
