Range day!

So this afternoon a good friend of mine wanted to go shoot his 98K and ask me to join him. I was off so what the heck. He ask me to bring one of my milsurp rifle so we could do a little challenge. It's been over 4 months since the K31 didn't see any daylight so I've decided to take her out.

I'm always amazed on how she looks on the shooting bench:

But how she shoots is what make me dig her that much!

Thanks man, I've owned half a dozen K31 and this '52 shoots the best and is in near new condition inside and out. Definitely on the do not sell list.

Very nice shooting! Had my K31 out just last Friday as well, shoots just like yours! Five shot groups under two inches with ease.

I'm sure I could squeeze a few more tenths out of it with a fancy diopter like you've got yourself there Harry! I'm jealous of that little add-on quite a lot.

One question though... was your target enough to put your buddy's K98 to shame?

His 98k is fitted with a Lyman peep sight and couldn't do better than 4" @100y with a variety of ammo. So yes he owes me another glass of his fine Macallan Sienna single malt!
