My Friday off, and 15 degrees in November. Range time. Decided to bring out my 1915 LSA for the first firing since I purchased it a few years ago. I have other SMLE that are good shooters, bought this one as it has reminents of volley sights, still has cutoff plate, windage sights have been pinned. No FTR marking on it. Has had a different barrel installed in 1917. Marked with a N on wrist along with broad C arrow marks. Didn't shoot too bad at all, my typical 100m groups with the majority of milsurp around 3.5 to 5 inches.

Ross is always a good shooter, it is a home guard. I have posted on it when I got it about ten years ago . I always get 4 shots about 1.5 inch and a fifth that goes about an inch out.

M39. I have got a different front sight that is taller so only shooting about 6 inches high now. I'm shimming that rear sight to drop it down a bit more. Good shooter.

Israeli K98 in 7.62mm. It is a well worn rifle with peened out stamps. Shoots well, I'm not a fan of the sights so I have a harder time with it. The story of that rifle would be interesting.

Mosin sniper. It used to shoot ok, I have no clue as to why it doesn't anymore. I tightened the action screws, 1/8 turn but didn't make a difference. I thought maybe the scope, tried with irons and no better. 10 inch groups, it has done 2.5 inch before. Looks like a project to work on.

Your Home Guard Ross looks very nice, as do the rest. Mine also is a fantastic shooter, it never fusses about ammo either.

I had a Mosin Sniper years ago, one of the Molot imports. I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with that thing, so away it went.
