Range For 17 Mach II?

Hey all.

What would be considered the "accurate" range for a 17 Mach II? I am into the precision type shooting thing. I have one in a Ruger M77.

lol 100 yards isn't that far. Maybve go with something that has better ballistics

This is to be a cheaper version of trigger time. For building better skills for the 308.

17m2 is pretty close to the 22WMR ballistically speaking

You can still punch targets at 200 yards no problem, hell I shoot my .22LR at 200 frequently and get great groups. The myth that the .22 is dead at 100 is pure bollock, I imagine the Mach 2 has no problem reaching there either, though the .22 starts to gain again that far out ballistically.

Training at 200 with the M2 will make you a great .308 shot, especially if you have a breeze.

Personally I would say 125-150 meters regulary (for hunting, plinking, ect). But for target practice if you want 200 yards is a fair challenge
