Hello,

Does anyone know where a good place to find range-friendly (not steel core) 7.62x25 ammo is? I've never purchased 7.62x25 and don't want to buy bulk surplus ammo if i won't be able to shoot it at my range.

Info is appreciated,
thanks,

What range? I belong to north mountain gun club in Nova Scotia. surplus is good to go there. Thats what i use. Not sure about other ranges. Lequille Country store has surplus 7.62x25 and I'm quite sure they non corrosive too. Privii and S&B

Morning I have ran into this as well, Is this an indoor Range? If so, is your range fine with FMJ? If FMJ is fine, you can get 7.63x25 Mauser in lead core. If FMJ is not allowed, than I have heard Fiocchi makes a soft point, but I have never seen it for sale.

Also, Bullets are available and reloading is a viable option.

Canada ammo carries PRVI but are currently out of stock. I haven't been able to locate any locally but no matter, no steelcore bans on the outdoor range

I've been searching for lead core 7.62x25 since I got my tok with no luck. Tradeex had some in stock but sold out by the time I got around to calling. Same with sfrc I think. I just keep checking periodically.

Halifax army navy sells the new production s&b stuff and better buy sports in dartmouth has some also i believe. All non corrosive and non steel core. Sfrc has it and when budgetshooter comes back from vacay he sells the winchester stuff.
