After a five year hiatus, The Canadian Forces (CF) is conducting the Canadian Forces Small Arms Competition (CFSAC), an international shooting competition held at Connaught Ranges (just outside of Ottawa, ON) this September. This competition comprises different shooting disciplines including: service pistol, service rifle and sniper.
Due to the high operational tempo of the CF, the majority of the positions in support of CFSAC have been contracted out to civilian companies. For the pistol matches, the intent is to utilize non-military personnel in range staff positions.

Dates: 30 August – 16 September 2007
Location: Connaught Ranges (west of Ottawa, ON)
Lat / Long: 45o21’47.2” N 75o53’42.2” W
Salary: $20.00 /hr. Estimated earnings: $3400.00
Qualifications: Range Officer (RO) Qualification in any recognized Action Shooting sport.
(IPSC, IDPA, USPSA, etc…)

5. While not required, personal firearms may be used and issue 9mm ammunition will be provided as necessary.
6. Preference will be given to people who are available for the entire period but all applicants will be considered.
