One thing I'd like to add to my "review" if I may: regarding the feel and size of the Glock grip. Every pistol I've owned has been held up and measured against my favorite, the 1911. As chunky and brick-like as the Glock feels, it does seem to be well-designed. It points naturally, and sits low in the hand (which for me is weird because I prefer a flat msh on a 1911). The one thing I don't like is the spacing on the finger grooves, they are too close together for my fingers. If I could design my own, I would make the top two slightly farther apart, with the lowest groove a bit smaller. Personal preference, I know it would be impossible to tailor the style to suit every person out there. As it is, my fingers tend to ride the high points of the front strap unless I make a deliberate adjustment to my finger placement.
Maybe a "customizable" front strap a la Gen 4 backstrap? Probably too much hassle, just sayin what would work for me.
