I've been shooting my LMT for a few months now. Over 400 rounds without any problems. Just reliable fun.
The rifle:
=======
- LMT 14.5" upper
- LMT lower
- 2 stage trigger
- SOPMOD stock. (great cheek weld and nice for storing batteries)
- LMT full auto bolt carrier w/ enhanced bolt
- Knights Armament RAS
- Eotech 552
- Vickers tactical 2 point sling
- ARMS #40 L-P .50 MOA low profile precision flip up rear sight
I decided to try some of my reloads. I temporarily mounted my trusty 16x Super Sniper and hit the The Shooting Edge to test them.
The load:
========
Winchester brass
Federal 205 primers
25 grains of Hodgdon H335
52 grain Sierra Match Kings
2.250" OAL
5 shots at 50 yards:
The first shot out of the clean barrel was the lone flier up high. The next 4 shots made that nice little knot hole.
Was the flier due to human error, load error or because it was the first shot out of a clean barrel? You decide. Either way I am pretty happy. I friggin love this rifle.
