Range report new Black Mountain tactical drag bag mat

So I have been in the market for a bag/mat for a while and this one came on sale at Cabelas for $49.99. So far so good no complaints. Carry my 700 and my vtr in it so far. Front of the bag lips up and holds the bipod nicely. Still have to try it out as a backpack. Comfy to lay on and keeps everything out of the dirt. Probably gonna cut off all the ties soon. Do not see my self using this feature but you never know. Could squeeze three guns in it using the silent operation feature.

Great bag. No longer on sale but for $69.99 US still a good deal. Unfortunately, it's not available on the Canadian Cabela's site. Shipping is nearly the cost of the bag when ordered from the US

Yeah it really sucks that us cabelas and Canadian cabelas do not have the same stuff. I live close to a border town and use a parcel service

Here's another heads up...don't use your gun case as a shooting mat. You will get dirt, crap, etc in your gun case.

Nothing sticks to this mat. give it a quick shake and its good. I haven't experienced any issues you speak of.

If it is dry you you can do that.

If you are shooting in rain/wet/muddy conditions the last thing you want to do is put a high end firearm in a wet/muddy case for the transport home......

I prefer a top quality drag bag and seperate shooting mat. YMMV.
