Finally got my slightly used Swiss Arms CQB to the range today. After a few adjustments for vertical this is a three shot group with iron sights at 125 yards. Now I am going to have to scope this one too to see how it will perform at distance. A lovely day at the range

Am I doing something wrong? I can't see a range report or any pics, except a little thumbnail with 3 holes in a piece of paper...

That is his range report! 3 .223 holes sacked ontop of eachother at 125 yards from a cqb rifle, using iron sights!:eek:

what bullets are you using?

I dont see how 3 shots are a range report. I can shoot 100 groups of 3 with my XCR and get 3 that go through the same hole, while another 3 land 3" apart. You need a large set of data to make anything worth while.

^^^ +1

The following article is a good read, and sums it up better than I can;
The Trouble With 3-Shot Groups

Not meaning any offense, I'm sure the OP is a good shot but the "report" doesn't reveal much...

Here is a very good range report;
The FN FS2000: Thoughts, observations, and range report

Again, no offense intended, the "3-shot group" article is a little harsh and the CGN'er wrote an extremely in-depth review of his FS2000.

I loved my SAN CQB and definitely will get another, I'd love to see some photos and a report to keep me patient until I can get one again. :D
Cheers!

great shooting rigrat, 3/4 inch group out of an 8 inch factory barrel using iron sights? mighty fine indeed! What ammo were you using?

Aw jeez people..... give the guy a break. He's excited about the CQB (as he should be), found it to be very accurate (as it is), and posted about it in CGN. Why are you jumping all over him for not living up to your subjective standards for exemplary firearms journalism?

He obviously has the right ammo for that rifle.. Good Job.. wish mine shot that well i am still developing a load for my classic green with an 18.5 inch barrel.. Man what a job.

:eek:Ok someone has to verify this cause if its true I will sell everything that I have to get a CQB. I could see you doing this a t 50 yrds with irons but a 125 open sights with a CQB...... I am gonna have to say if you believe that I have some ocean front property in Arizona that I would like to sell ya. :nest:
