Range report

Had a day off today, so I decided to take a trip to the range to test out some handloads for two of my toys.

First up is my Marlin 444P.

47grs AA2015
300gr Speer
3 shots @ 50yds

I seated to 2.535" OAL (to first crimp groove) and according to Speer #12, 48grs is a max load. I have some H4198 I will try next.





Next up is my Weatherby Vanguard in .257Wby

68grs RL25
Nosler 110gr Accubond
3 shots @ 100yds

There is definately room for improvement. No pressure signs, so I will try bumping up the charge some more. Bullet seated to 3.250" OAL
