that doesn't make sense. how could you get good groups with a king scope?

I shot 1/4 MOA groups with a cheap fixed 15x Redfield. It happens.

I'd love to see the gun and the targets. 220 swift is a calibre I'VE ALWAYS wanted to own. I had a 22-250 that was a tack driver, but I always wanted a Swift.

If you need help posting your pics I can hep you.

just a little jest in regards to the king scope.

i will get my computer wizard out here and he will help me post more pics ,, but ya that king optics,, i have had very good luck with it , i have shot becide nikon ,,nightforce ,and bushnell ,, and i shot just as good as them out to 400 yards,, i did have a 22 250 , still have it ,, and it is a tackdriver aswell, but i needed a bit more punch , so i built the 220 swift

The Swift has always been my favorite hotshot 22!! I have had some dandies over the years. 40X, Ruger 77V tangsafety, Remington VSSF, Winchester pre-64 HB, Custom barrelled 700's.
The Swift is a Zinger, and is usually easy to make shoot well. I have only had one that would not turn in ½ moa groups once tuned up properly, and my present one with less than 250 rounds through it shoots 5-shot groups in the 2's and 3's at 100M. 6.5-20 Leupy on top.
It is a crow's nightmare, to be sure. Enjoy your Swift, Eagleye.

I have had a pre-64, Ruger 77V and a #1 in 220 Swift, claimed a lot of groundhogs and crows in eastern Ontario some years ago, been without one for over 20 years. Last fall I stopped in at Clay's home in Lloydminster to check out some shotguns, and ended up going home with a Cooper M22, 26" sporter in 220 Swift. Topped with a Leupold 25X with a 1/2 moa dot it shot consistant 3/8" 5 shot groups during break in using Win 50gr factory ammo, should do better with handloads. I am also working on some loads for a Sako L46 in 218 Bee, it shoots 1/2 moa with factory, the Swift and the Bee can't get more nostalgic than that.
