Went to the range Sun eve and managed to get good loads for 3 more rifles. I must say thanks again to my May shooters for all their shooting and eliminating combos which allowed me to finalize these loads.

No kidding! There won't be much holding over or turret twisting with those loads, and the accuracy is certainly there. That is something else I have often noticed: that accuracy often improves as one approaches maximum load in many cartridges.

Now, about case life? You going to check that out with repeated loadings of the same brass?

Curious, did all three Remington rifles shoot Accubonds the best or did you select the Nosler bullet and change powders to find the most accurate load?

Do you consider those cratered primers normal on the 7Rum?

On this rifle, yes, they do that from way down the pressure scale, with starting loads actually. I bought it used and really never noticed the cratering before, but after I noticed it I went back looking and every fired case is the same. I suspect an oversize pin hole or weakened firing pin spring.

The Roberts I tried about 6 or 7 different bullets to no avail and then tried the AB and low and behold.....
The 300 Wby only worked with 200 ABs and 200 Parts, still playing with the parts.
The 7 RUM I had lots of bullets for it and no preconcieved notions, this 160 AB load came up very early and so I still have lots of different 7mm bullets.

A guy could do a lot of hunting with that 300wby and not ask for anything more. Is that's a factory SS 700 or a rechamber job?

That 7ultra probably has a sloppy firing pin hole my 223 does the same thing, slight cratering.

The 300 Wby is factory from 1993 and it has been over a lot of the world with me. I believe it has accounted for more game than all other calibers I have ever used.

The only big cases I played with were the 30-378 Weatherby and the 338-378Weatherby
which are close to the rum case .In both of them we could shoot heavy for caliber bullets faster than lighter ones.Mainly because we couldn't safely use enough faster powder for the lighter bullets. That is what I would expect from the 7 Rum
