Finally got my 260 out this weekend to see what it is really able to shoot for groups. I am very happy with the results. My trigger is set at 8oz which I found a little disconcerting at first as I have never had a trigger set this light. However I was able to get the feel of it so to speak.

Thank you for the compliments. This rifle is a treat to shoot, its approx. 17lbs which makes for very little felt recoil.

I will be going into a 140 round 3 day F class event this weekend. Hopefully I can make a respectable go of it.
 
Nice rifle and nice groups Toolman, esp. with the bench you show the rig on!! Man, you need a new top on that bench!!

Would that be the MPRA Fullbore Championships on the St Charles Rifle Range, Saskatchewan Avenue, Winnipeg? If so, I'll see you there... but my math says it's more like 176 round match over the 3 days, 60, 56 and 60 per day.

Or is it the BC match were the international teams are shooting, then going into Washington state, the one Inspector aka Glen T. and Jay W. are going to?

MPRA match on Aug 4,5,6 shows the following time table and I count 60, 56 and 60 per day. See below...

Please come up and introduce yourself on saturday. As far as the round count is concerned it is a little misleading. I understand that we may or may not shoot the following;

President’s Match, (if required) 900 2-10 50
12:00 Carling Team Match 900 or 1000 2-10 50
14:00 Labatt’s Team Match 600 2-10 50

The last 2 are more for the TR shooters(I think).

Steve should be able to confirm.
