Just received a new case of SK Standard Plus yesterday :D and since it hadn't started to rain I thought I'd get in a few targets today. Took the peep sights off and put my Weaver T36 on the Anschutz 54 Match and proceeded to sight in at 100 yds. Weather was okay with sun and clouds, temperature about 8 C. and negligible wind. I used a Rock BR front rest and a rear bag. Most targets stayed around the 1" mark for 10 shot groups. Still trying to find some Eley Match EPS close to where I live to try and see how much the groups shrink. Here's a couple of pics of the best target today.

Very nice group! Boy, when Std. Plus is on, it's on!

However, the last couple lots of it I got were terrible... Where did you buy it and what lot# do you have?

I'm happy with the SK ammo, I purchase it at Hirsch Precision and have it shipped to B.C. I can't find a lot # on the box, brick carton or individual boxes. just skew tag numbers. I think the Anschutz has a lot to do with the groups :D I'm trying to improve my technique, still learning as I have only been trying benchrest the last few months. I'm hoping to enter a few matches next year here in BC, till then it will be lots of practice.

We have Anschutz rifles and custom rifle with Lilja barrels, and are still cursing the last lot. Not sure what's wrong with it, but it isn't the same performance it's given in the past.

It would be nice to order some from a know good lot. There should be a lot# on the back of each box...

Batch # will be inside one of the end flaps of a 50 round box. It should also be on the outside, on the side of the 5000 round case. Has been on all I have bought. Nice shooting BTW !

Nice shooting

I also have a 54 match and it shoots about the same as yours with Eley sport. Have some Eley Team coming to see if that will tighten it a bit but for a 22 at 100yds Im very happy with it.

Amazing rilfes and mine is 40 yrs old.
