Been thinking about ways to reduce my luggage when hunting, and one idea was ditch the rangefinder for ranging binos or even better, a ranging scope (and I was thonkong about replacing my SFP Nikon scope anyway). Now I see the Burris Eliminator IV is on sale at Cabelas. Anybody have experience with this or Burris scopes in general? Its a lot of money but for the features could be worth it. Seems like they have a great warranty too.
Are there other well known options I should look into? I decided to pass in the Sig BDX (mixed reviews for the price).
