Ranger 22 Cal semi auto LR

I have an old Ranger 22 semi-auto LR. It has a carving of a rabbit on both sides of the stock. It has a removable magazine which hold 10 shells. It has no model number or serial number. Anybody know anything about this gun( how old it is, who manufactured it, etc) Also, with the Liberal new magazine restrictions, are there any 5 shell magazine for this gun?

Your rifle was manufactured by Cooey/Winchester and is a model 64 or a version there of. It was made prior to 1968 as there was no requirement to have a serial#. Unless there are clarifications to the mag. capacity it falls under the restrictions. There are no 5 rnd. mags. available. I own 3 model 64"s and face the same predicament as you. May be Savage Arms will produce a 5 rnd. mag as they manufacture their Mod.64's in Canada.
