Rant: SCUMBAGS Among Us

ROA is one of the good ones. The good ole PG boys aren't any better. I used to be able to find at least 1/2 dozen empty Timmy's coffee cups every day down the Blackwater. Sadly for us there are dumbasses everywhere.

this time of year it's hard to meet anyone from PG in the bush around PG. it's all guys from the lower mainland ;)

Your from the city aren't you... :D

I was in the middle of freaking nowhere, the backstop was miles of unihabited hills and trees.

Hows this for you?

How do you think I new that the sign was an advertisement do you think I might of went up to it and checked it out first.

Think before you spew...

i am in the city now but grew up in the bush. all i was trying to point out was that it seemed like you saw a sign in the distance and started shooting. without checking what was there. i'm sure mr. moose didn't put it up. there could have been some one in the area. in the cuts in my old area, if you saw a sign it usually meant something.

We had a unpleasant experience up past Pink Mountain this year.

There was a retired fellow from PG camped on the side of a road on the way to an area I was hunting so of course I would stop and BS with him, seemed like a nice chap.

When he went home he left what looked like all of his garbage in a pile by the pond he was camped by including the OIL containers that he emptied when he changed the oil in his pick up - he drained the used oil into the pond. The filter was carefully placed by the pond shore so it would drain out there.

Oh, it gets better. There were two 5 gallon plastic pails sitting there as well. He had used these as toilets and left them partially filled with solid waste and toilet paper.

I guess the PG boys are all up around Pink Mountain. :p

I lived two years in Edson and couldn't believe how the locals after there shift at coal Valley would stop in Robb for beers and down them on the way throwing every empty into the ditch as they finished there drink. I have also witnessed tons of fridges and other home appliances dumped at Skidoo drop off points in the Millers lake area as well as places along the Macleod river. The town was/is also full of litter and filth. From Edson north to Whitecourt is hillbillysville. The locals have no respect for the outdoors and the towns themselves are filthy.

I think the direction of this thread is hilarious. I love how everyone injects their own bias into the subject of the culprits: "tacticool", "rednecks", "drunk hunters", "city folk", "indians", "country bumpkins"- I'd say if we throw in immigrants, big business and religious fanatics we'll cover everyone. This just in : our species sucks. Perfectly good planet of eating, pooping, breeding critters til we came along. Nice of a lot of you to remind us why we like the great outdoors in our circle: less people.:nest:

Might as well get our southern bretheren involved as well :D
I took a great white hunter from florida fishing. The fat bastard sat on my styrofoam cooler turning it into shrapnel. He then picked up the pieces and commenced tossing the chunks into the bush. I picked the trash out of the bush and tossed it in my camper for proper disposal.

If styrofoam was disposed of properly, it would be an issue, but it isn't.
It's still used to ship seafood because of it's lite weight and efficient insulating qualities.
