Rapid Z 1000 Users, zero distance?

I zero mine at 100 on the 100 marker. Seems to work very well if you're using 168 federal gold. Also look at the Rapid Z calculator for the magnification you should be sighting in for. keep in mind it won't be dead on further out. Although mine was correct at 300 meters using 168 federal gold. There will be a slight change when changing magnification since it's not a FFP (First focal plane scope).

I happen to really like these scopes and the Rapid Z crosshair. I think for hunting, varmints or Police DM style shooting they are perfect. For precision work you will need to make charts so you know exactly how many clicks to adjust at each crosshair with the ammo you're shooting. also for your most likely magnifications. For F-Class or real precision shooting I'd probably opt for something with more moa adjustment and just dial it in. But the Rapid Z is fun and seems to work decently.

It's primary use will be critters, I did play with the calculator and even with the differences between actual trajectory and the horizontal indicator they will still be within minute of coyote.

I have to develop a load yet so as long as I can get reasonable accuracy I can play with velocities a bit to fine tune it a bit to the reticle.
